Dr. Robert Sapolsky: Science of Stress, Testosterone & Free Will | Huberman Lab Podcast #35

In this episode, I interview Dr. Robert Sapolsky, Ph.D., Professor of Biology, Neurology & Neurosurgery at Stanford University. We discuss stress, what defines short-term versus long-term stress, and how stress can be beneficial or detrimental, depending on the context. We also discuss stress mitigation and how our sense of control over stress mitigation techniques, including exercise, determine health outcomes. Dr. Sapolsky explains some of the key effects of the hormone testosterone — how it can amplify pre-existing tendencies for aggression or sexual behavior, but that it does not produce those behaviors per se. He also explains how testosterone impacts our social hierarchies, sense of confidence, and willingness to embrace challenges of different kinds. He also explains how our behaviors and perceptions shape testosterone levels. And we discuss estrogen and the powerful role it plays in brain development, health and longevity. Finally, we discuss free will, what it means to have free will, and if we have any free will, including how knowledge alone might allow us to make better decisions for ourselves and society.

Searching for Solid Evidence of UAPs – Dr. Massimo Teodorani, Galileo Project

Dr. Massimo Teodorani is an astrophysicist, musician, and UAP skeptic. He has recently signed onto Avi Loeb’s Galileo project, where he is in charge of an effort to take high-resolution images of UAP’s from around the world. Using pan-tilt camers with precision spectroscopic tools, Teodorani and colleagues are hoping to create an incontrovertible dataset that gets us closer to understanding what people are seeing in the skies in places like Marfa, Phoenix, and Hessdalen. In addition to the science, we talk mind control, statecraft, covert military action, and electronic music.

La Belle Verte (the Green Beautiful)

The “Green Planet” belongs to another solar system. Through the simplicity of their lifestyle those who live there are a real step ahead of us: they spend their time concentrating their knowledge, strength and energy on the development of their minds and bodies in a natural environment which they dearly preserve and care for. Once a year, they gather in the crater of a dormant volcano to decide which planets they ought to send messengers to. There are volunteers for every planet except Earth, which is considered too polluted and too dangerous. One woman alone, Mila, decides to go there to seek out her identity, as Osam the old sage has revealed to her that she was conceived there during a previous trip by her father

New: From The Skies of Mars

Real aerial footage from the skies of Mars! The amazing things you will see in this video, are all real images taken from the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, which has been flying around the red planet for 15 years. It has returned almost 400 Terra-bits of data.

Most importantly of all, it provides us with a birds-eye view of the Martian surface. Each image tells an interesting story, and is much stranger than it appears on the surface. The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter has transmitted more than 65,000 images back to Earth. This video is just a small selection of some of the most interesting.

5 Phenomenal Time Slip Experiences

Far from catching a mere glimpse of another time, those who have reported time slips claim to have experienced full immersion in a time out of place. For those who claim to have temporarily visited the past – or indeed, the future – it is suggested that the very fabric of our reality is more fluid than we believe. As such, here are five cases of people who allege to have experienced a glitch in time.
